Find a Device

Either:

  • From the Device Filter Bar’s drop-down list, select the type of device that you want to find.

Note: To display USB ActivKeys, select ActivID Smart Card.
To indicate that a filter is activated, the first device icon in the display is dimmed.
  • In the tree in the left pane, select Devices, then expand the tree to view repositories.
    You can select the All devices repository view to view all the stored devices or select the appropriate repository containing the device you want to find.

Device icons (matching the device type you selected) are displayed in the pane at the top of the Administration Console.

  • If no icons are displayed, click Refresh on the Device Filter Bar.
  • If still no icons are displayed, there are no devices of the type that you selected in that repository.

You can also use the Device Filter Bar to filter the resulting display:

  • #Devices - enter the number of devices to display.
  • Select Range (From and To) - select the range filter (Serial Number, Date or None) and enter the minimum and maximum values.
  • Status - select the device status (All, Assigned or Available) to display.
