Lock a Device

  1. In the tree in the left pane of the Administration Console, select Help Desk, then search for a user via the drop-down list of LDAP queries. Optionally, enter a User ID or Device serial number in the appropriate field.
  2. Select the user from the Search Results display, then click Help Desk. The Help Desk dialog box is displayed.
  3. If a user has lost his/her authentication device, or if s/he is no longer allowed to connect to the server, then the Help Desk can lock the user’s device manually. Select Manual locking.
  4. Click Quit.
  5. Check the Help Desk window Resources display under the column Manual loc... for user status.
