Resynchronize Back-Up Server (Master/Backup Deployment Only)

The AAA Server automatically synchronizes data between the primary (master) server and its backup when you export. When your master authentication server is down, you are working in degraded mode, and the system does not send updates to the backup until the master is repaired.

Note: This applies only to AAA Server replication and not to a pool of servers. The terms “master” and “backup” are interchangeable. The two authentication servers are independent of each other, and they can become either master or backup at any time without any restriction.

Prerequisites:

Define user group. See Create a Group Using LDAP Queries and Filters.
Assign user group to gates on both the reference server and the roaming server(s). See Assign User Groups to a Gate.
