View the Database Encryption Status

By default, all critical information is encrypted in the database. Critical information includes static passwords and keys used in the password generation algorithm.

  1. Select Tools, then click Database Encryption.

     

    2. Important: It is recommended that you always work in encrypted mode. The database decryption mode is deactivated by default and should only be used for debugging. For more information, contact HID Global technical support.
  2. Click OK to close the window.
