Supported Upgrades
Upgrade to a new version of the AAA Server is handled by a clear migration process, during which exported user and token information is restored.
The AAA Server's Cipher Keys Management utility enables you to import existing keys for device management.
AAA Server 7.0 supports upgrade from the following versions:

Automatic upgrade using the AAA Server 7.0 setup:
- AAA Server 6.8 and later - complete server, administration, database and component upgrade. In addition, you can upgrade from Web Help Desk 6.8 and later using the Web Help Desk 7.0 setup.
- AAA Server 6.8 and later - complete server, administration, database and component upgrade. In addition, you can upgrade from Web Help Desk 6.8 and later using the Web Help Desk 7.0 setup.

Two-step upgrade (upgrade first to 6.8 and then to 7.0).

Note: To upgrade from deployments using Microsoft Access databases, contact HID Global technical support for instructions.
