Choice of Tokens

Previous versions of the ActivID Soft Token Solution (now deprecated as of AAA Server 7.0) supported token versions for personal computers, mobile devices, and Web browsers. When migrating from earlier versions of AAA, users may have been assigned a combination of different token types. (For example, a user may have been assigned both a PC Token and a Blackberry® Mobile Token.)

Using HID Approve Tokens via the HID Approve application (for iOS, Android or Windows 10), users can continue to activate and enroll their tokens for authentication for using one-time passwords with protected services.

While ActivID PC and Web Tokens can no longer be enrolled with AAA Server, this functionality is planned for future versions of HID Approve for Windows.
