View Authentication Logs for a Specific User

Before performing any action that affects a user’s device, review the authentication logs for user operations executed on the AAA Server side.

Note: The maximum number of logs displayed is 1000.
  1. Select the corresponding link for the user’s device in the Device ID column of the search results.

  2. From the device data display, select Authentication Logs.

    The user’s logs consolidate and the results display (for all devices assigned to selected user).

    Note: Use the Back button on the interface rather than on your browser to return to the previous page.

  3. Select from several Authentication Log options to organize the information displayed. The following table lists the options:

    To... Then...

    View by date range

    Enter or select dates in the From and To fields

    View one or more servers by name

    Select your choice from the Servers drop-down list

    View one or more servers by IP address

    Select your choice from the Server IP drop-down list

    This choice is available only for pooled AAA Servers.

    View error logs only

    Select REJECTED only

    View a display matching your log parameters

    Click Consolidate & Refresh
