ActivID ActivClient Software Development Kit (SDK)

ActivClient comes with a Software Development Kit (SDK), enabling integrators to build applications leveraging the ActivClient smart card middleware. It provides documentation, header files/libraries and code samples for the following APIs:

• Microsoft cryptography APIs (CAPI/CNG)

• PKCS#11 v2.20

• Personal Identity Verification (PIV) Middleware API as per National Institute of Standard and Technology (NIST) SP800-73-4 specifications

• Basic Services Interface (BSI) API, defined by the U.S. Government Smart Card Interoperability specifications GSC-IS 2.1

These APIs provide access to ActivClient services: card management services, PKI services, OTP services and data storage services.

They are available with C and Java interfaces.
