Components and Sub-Components

The ActivClient setup consists of several components that you can enable or disable for installation, depending on the scope of your deployment.

When you perform a Typical setup, ActivClient automatically determines which components to install based on your workstation environment.

You can also decide to select which components (and sub-components) to install or not install using a Custom setup.

Note:
  • The OTP services are installed as part of the ActivClient base services node. They are available only with smart cards configured with OTP capability.

  • When you install the ActivClient Mini Driver, the certificate is automatically added to the Trusted Publishers store of your workstation.
