Managing Devices

Each device imported into ActivID Appliance is linked to a device type, which categorizes the device.

Setting up a device type includes specifying the re-synchronization and unlocking facilities supported. This, in turn, determines whether these functions are displayed in the Device Details page. The Device Details page will display the Status field.
