Channels
The channel is a concept that allows to segregate authentications made with ActivID Appliance, as a virtual pipe in which ActivID Appliance considers an authentication request.
The ActivID Appliance determines on which channel to authenticate a user based on the authentication policy in the request.
The ActivID Appliance base dataset load includes a default set of external (customer) facing channels for the Web, Call Centers, and IVR.
