Push-Based Validation Workflows

This section explains the functional workflows of the push-based validation solution during installation and registration of the HID Approve application, as well as the actual validation of logons and actions.

The user can perform the following operations using the HID Approve application:

Register a Device by installing HID Approve and registering a service
Enable Biometric Protection
Approve a logon request to a web portal
Approve an action such as adding a beneficiary
Generate a One-Time Password for authentication
Sign a transaction
Manage registered services

Note: For demonstration purposes, the procedures are illustrated using a demo banking web site (integrating the Push samples). For further information, contact HID Global technical support.
