Troubleshoot Your OOB Configuration

To make sure that OOB authentication is configured correctly for the user, you must check the following:

  • The user has a valid email address or a mobile phone number to receive the email or the SMS.

  • A valid OOB Delivery Gateway (SMS or Email) was configured and tested.

  • The OOB authentication policy has the following conditions:

    • The OOB delivery Gateway is added to the Selected Delivery Gateways.
    • Both CT_ACODE and CT_OOB are configured in the Selected Credential Types.
