KAS Installation and Configuration

• Launch the KAS installer (kas_master.exe).

• Create KAS and KAO user accounts: KAS7 and KAO7 (choose the Usernames that you want; in this documentation, we are using KAS7 and KAO7).

• Create the Policy.

• Create KAS and KAO entities and connect it on the drawing.

• Create the crypto-profile (kao7-crypto).

• Save PKI after having created the link between CA and KAS, between KAS and RA A Registration Authority (RA) is an authority in a network that verifies user requests for a digital certificate and instructs the CA to issue it. An RA is part of a PKI, a networked system that enables companies and users to exchange information safely and securely., and between KAS and KAO.

• Create the KAS service and start it.
