Unbinding a Device

The Help Desk operator can unbind a device. For example, this is useful if the Issuance officer has assigned the device to the wrong user.

Important: This function is available only if the device has been bound to the user, but not personalized. You cannot unbind a device if it is personalized already.
  1. Go to the Help Desk Overview page.

  2. In the Cards or YubiKeys section, click Unbind.

    The Device Binding Cancellation page appears:

  3. Click Submit. A confirmation message appears.
