Using the Log Anonymizer Tool

This section explains how to use the Log Anonymizer Tool. This tool is for system administrators and HID Global Customer Support representatives so that they can protect the customer Personally Identifiable Information (PII) data—and still be able to share the log files in order to troubleshoot issues.

Prerequisites: Perl, version 5.10.0 or higher (available at http://www.perl.org/)

Note: Perl version 5.10.0 is a prerequisite due to its better performance compared to previous versions.
