Setting Parameters for Remote Issuance

Note: Remote issuance is only available for mobile smart cards and support for mobile smart cards has been deprecated starting with ActivID CMS 5.4.

  1. Select the Configuration tab, and then select the Customization sub-tab.

  2. From the Select a Topic drop-down list, select Remote Issuance.

  3. In the Enable remote issuance section, select Enabled to configure support for remote issuance of mobile smart cards.

  4. In the Email configuration section:

    • In the SMTP Host field, enter the SMTP host name.

    • In the Sender field, enter the name of the sender.

    • In the Body field, modify the default template text as needed. For example, if using the LDAP Lightweight Directory Access Protocol password, you can remove the initial password. Be sure to add the address of the ActivID CMS server where indicated.

    Note: In the email template, LDAP attributes can be specified using the following rule: %ATTR.xxx%, where xxx is the LDAP attribute name.

  5. Optionally, you can click Revert to go back to the previously saved settings.

  6. Click Set. A confirmation message appears.
