Configuring ActivID CMS for Use with pivCLASS Products

This section describes how to install and configure an ActivID CMS connector to the HID pivCLASS IDPublisher and pivCLASS MultiPACS products to streamline the onboarding of PIV Personal Identity Verification (technical standard of "HSPD-12") credentials into Physical Access Control Systems (PACS) systems, enabling authentication at the door with the PIV card. This connector automatically pushes the activation and deactivation information of the new card from ActivID CMS to the PACS systems.

This documentation is not intended to replace the PACS or pivCLASS IDPublisher documentation. The intent of this section is to provide guidance on how to configure ActivID CMS to enroll ActivID CMS issued PIV cards to PACS through pivCLASS IDPublisher.
