Setting Up PACS Service for pivCLASS IDPublisher

You must first install and configure PACS service, and then enable IDPublisher.

To install and configure PACS service for pivCLASS IDPublisher, perform the following tasks:

  1. Install the PACS service.

  2. Enable the IDPublisher service to view the IDPublish tab, and enable the IDPublish API In the context of ActivID CMS, an Application Programming Interface (API) is an external interface (for example, the CCM API) that makes it possible for applications not supported by HID Global to incorporate ActivID functionality.. For detail instructions about enabling IDPublisher, refer to the PACS Service Manual.

  3. Configure the PACS services for MultiPACS (optional). This feature allows you to enroll a user to a particular PACS.
