ActivID Credential Management System v5.9

ActivID CMS 5.9 for Windows provides the following improvements to the previous version:

  • Security Key password management tool: Providing administrators the ability to update the Security Key password.

  • Added support for the Virtual Contact Interface (VCI), a NIST security requirement to allow non-card management operations to be carried out over a contactless interface in a highly-secure manner.

  • Added device diagnostic page: Enabling administrators to check and verify the device (Smart Card or Security Key) pre-issuance state prior to personalizing it.

  • Key backup on KMS is not supported anymore; for security reasons HSM vendor tools are recommended.
