Device Profiles and Hardware Devices

This section describes the list of profiles supported with this release of ActivID CMS. It includes information about hardware devices onto which ActivID CMS profiles can be loaded; hardware devices include smart cards and USB keys. Profiles can also be inserted in mobile devices for two different usages: as a derived credential, or as a mobile smart card.

Note: Support for Mobile Smart Cards has been deprecated starting with ActivID CMS 5.4.

Based on the standard profiles included in ActivID CMS, operators can create different policies to issue the devices to meet specific company and project requirements.
