Configuring Repositories

This section describes how to configure repositories that are external servers with which ActivID CMS interacts. Use the Repositories Management tab to configure your system for communicating with various servers involved in device management tasks. For example, you can define and manage connections to external repositories that include the following:

• Directories (user repositories)

• Certificate Authorities (PKI certificate management systems)

• ActivID AAA servers or ActivID Authentication Servers / Appliances (enables one-time password / SKI Symmetric Key Infrastructure secure remote access)

• ActivID CMS Peer Servers

To manage users and credential lifecycles, you must connect ActivID CMS to these types of external repositories.
