Configuring ActivID CMS in a Three-Tier Configuration

This section explains how to configure ActivID CMS in a three-tier configuration using a web server, a redirector server, and an application server. It is not intended to replace the Microsoft documentation for Windows Server or ISAPI-related documentation.

However, it does provide instructions for installing the IIS redirector on a Windows Server, or for configuring servers using ISAPI. For example, the default directory structure or the location of key files depends upon the ISAPI software, the database being used, and the specific Microsoft IIS version being used.
