Launch the Configuration Utility

Warning! Once you launch the configurator (Configuration Utility program), you must complete the configuration process to the end (do not click Quit Configuration). If, for some reason, you need to quit in the middle, then make sure to re-launch the configurator and complete the entire configuration process. Otherwise, the server may not start due to inconsistencies that may have been left in the configuration files or database.

Windows

Note: For security purposes, the configuration interface is only available from the local machine.

Select Start > Apps by Name > HID Global > Configure Validation Authority.    

Linux

  1. Open a command shell to update the PATH variable to add the Mozilla Browser path:

    Copy 
    export PATH=/usr/sfw/lib/firefox:$PATH

  2. Start the Validation Authority Configurator with the following command:

    Copy 
    <VA installation directory>/authority/bin>./configure.sh

The Validation Authority Configuration page is displayed.
