Start/Restart the Server

None of the changes that you made during configuration will take effect until Validation Authority is restarted (or started if it is not already running).

  1. Click Start/Restart to start or restart Validation Authority immediately.

  2. Click Next if you want to start or restart Validation Authority later.

This completes the configuration process for Validation Authority. At this point, you can continue on to the configuration activities described in the Configure Data by clicking the Management Console link.

Important: If you regenerated keys during configuration, then you still have to perform the following steps:
  3. Log on to the Validation Authority Management Console using an account with the administrator role.

  4. Click the data sources link. Enter the appropriate credential in the Credential text box for each configured LDAP CRL or certificate data source, refer to the LDAP CRL Data Source and LDAP Certificate Data Source for more information. Save the changes.

  5. Click the user accounts link. Delete and recreate each Validation Authority Management Console interface user account (not needed for the master administrator account) and notify the user of their new password.
