Test a Data Source

Whenever you add a new data source or make changes to an existing data source, click Test Configuration to verify that the data source functions properly.

• If the test is successful, you will be returned to the page. Depending on the type of data source being configured, a list of certificates or CRLs from the data source is listed at top of the page.

• If the test is unsuccessful, an error message (at the top of the page) is displayed that describes the cause of the error.

• If there are multiple problems with the configuration, you will only receive a single error message. Once that problem is resolved, test the configuration again. The next error message will be displayed.

• Once the test has been completed successfully, click Save Data Source to save your changes and return to the Data Sources page.

  Alternatively, click Cancel to not save the changes and return you to the Data Sources page.
