Validation Suite Components

The Validation Suite components are mentioned below:

ActivID Validation Authority

This component periodically generates and makes available OCSP response lists and certification paths (DPD). It also services direct OCSP requests and certification paths (DPV) requests.

• Smart Data Bridge is an optional component provided together with ActivID Validation Authority. It enables outside applications to push revocation status for individual certificates to a Validation Authority. For more information, see the ActivID Smart Data Bridge.

ActivID Validation Responder

This component retrieves lists of pre-generated OCSP responses and certification paths (DPD) from one or more Validation Authorities and provides individual certificate validation information to relying party applications.
