System Requirements

Supported Operating Systems

Validation Authority is supported on the following operating systems:

• Red Hat® Enterprise Linux® v7.x and v8.x (64-bit)

• Microsoft® Windows® Server 2016, 2019, and 2022

The hardware system requirements for secure production will depend on the Operating System that is used to set up the environment. For details, refer to the System Requirements section of Validation Authority.

Memory Requirements

The Smart Data Bridge software requires at least 100 MB of available disk space.

Supported Authorities

This Smart Data Bridge is compatible with Validation Authority 7.2, 7.3, and 7.4.

Supported Data Sources

The Smart Data Bridge can import certificate revocation change records from a certificate authority that can create records in the HID Global XML format. For details, refer to Creating XML Records.

A single Smart Data Bridge can be configured with only one source of data. Section Configuring the Smart Data Bridge describes the procedure for specifying the data format.
