Configure OCSP Response Acceptance

Click Trust on the OCSP tab to configure parameters that specify how the Validation Client determines whether or not it can trust an OCSP response.

Section OCSP Response Acceptance Considerations provides more detail about how the Validation Client determines whether it should explicitly or implicitly trust a validation response.

To configure the manner by which the Validation Client determines whether a response is trusted, complete the following steps:

1. Run the Management Console (refer to Section Using the Management Console), select the OCSP tab, and click Trust.

   

2. Follow the procedures in the remainder of this section to configure the manner by which the Validation Client determines whether a response is trusted, based on your OCSP infrastructure configuration.
