About Microsoft Domain Controller (MDC)

ActivID SerVE for Microsoft Domain Controller (MDC) provides a validation extension that enables the Microsoft Domain Controller to use the Microsoft Cryptographic Application Programming Interface (CAPI) to validate the revocation status of digital certificates using the Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP).

CAPI is a component of Microsoft Windows that allows applications to perform data encryption and digital certificate validation operations.
