Select Event Types to Log

Select one or more types of desired log message. The Validation Extension writes each message type to the log file and/or to the Windows Event log (debug events cannot be logged to the Windows Event log).

Note: The Validation Extension regards the status of self-signed certificates as Unknown. If you do not enable the notification Unknown Responses, the only record of attempted validations of self-signed certificates appears in the log file.

Note: When you enable the Debugging Events, and Include Request and Response Bodies in Logs options, the log will provide more records than you normally need. HID Global recommends enabling these options only when you need detailed information for advanced troubleshooting.
