Advanced Configurations

Most of the common configuration options for the Validation Responder can be managed through the Validation Responder configuration system. For more advanced configuration, there is a collection of XML configuration files that you can manually edit to configure the server environment. Once you have made changes, you must stop and restart the Validation Responder for changes to take effect.

In this section, all directory paths are relative to the base directory of the Validation Responder installation.

For example:

For Windows - C:\Program Files\HID Global\Validation Responder

Linux - /opt/hidglobal/validation_responder
