Launch the Validation Responder Configuration Utility

Windows

Select Start > Apps by Name > HID Global > Configure Validation Responder.

Note: For security purposes, the Validation Responder Configuration interface is only available from the local machine.

Open a command shell to update the PATH variable to add the Mozilla Browser path:
Copy
```
export PATH=/usr/sfw/lib/mozilla:$PATH
```

Start the Validation Responder Configurator with the following command:
Copy
```
<VA installation directory>/authority/bin>./configure.sh
```

The Validation Responder Configuration page is displayed.

Note: For security purposes, the Validation Responder Configuration interface is only available from the local machine.

All routine Validation Responder configuration operations are performed through this web-based interface.
