Response List Polling Schedule
This section describes how to configure the schedule on which the Validation Responder checks for new or updated data from configured response list sources. The Validation Responder will download a new OCSP response list ONLY if it is newer than the currently loaded list. There is little network overhead involved in frequently checking for updates.
Polling schedules can be configured in one of two ways:
-
Interval—List the amount of time to wait before checking for updated response lists.
-
Calendar—List a specific day and time at which the Validation Responder should check for updated response lists.
By default, the Validation Responder checks for updated OCSP response list data every 5 minutes. To add a recurring calendar-based polling schedule, click Add Calendar. To add a simple interval-based schedule, click Add Interval.
