Download and Install the HID Authentication Device Client

Prerequisites:

  • The HID Authentication Device Client requires 60 MB of hard disk space (110 MB during installation) and can be installed on:

    • Microsoft Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit only)

    • Microsoft Windows Server 2016, 2019 and 2022 (64-bit only)

  • It cannot be installed on:

    • Systems running on ARM processors

    • Servers with the domain controller role

To download and install the HID Authentication Device Client application, follow the below steps:

  1. Click DOWNLOAD NOW to start downloading the HID Authentication Device Client application.

  2. Downloading is in progress; please wait until it is fully completed.

  3. Once the download is complete, please proceed to launch the installer for the installation process.

  4. Launch the installer by double-clicking the HID Authentication Device Client.exe file in your download folder.

  5. When the Welcome page displays, click Next to proceed with the installation.

  6. Read the content of License Agreement page. If you agree the terms of the license agreement, then accept and click Next.

  7. On the next page, you can specify the folder that HID Authentication Device Client will be installed. If you want to install it to the default location, click Next.

    Otherwise, click Change to specify a new location and then click Next to continue.

  8. Click Install to begin the installation process and wait until the installation is complete.

  9. When the installation is complete, a final page displays. Click Finish.

Note: If you receive a prompt to restart the system, restart it to apply the configuration changes to the HID Authentication Device Client.
