Managing Password Authenticator

You can manage the password authentication in the Password tab.

Resetting a Password

When user forgets the current password, follow the below steps to reset the password:

  1. Click Users in the left navigation bar to open the Users page.

  2. From the list of users, choose and click a user you want to reset the password.

  3. The user account page opens, go to Authentication Methods and Activity section >> Password tab.

  4. Click RESET PASSWORD button, then Reset Password confirmation dialog box appears, click OK to confirm.

    Then the user receives an email that contains a link and instructions which allows the user to set up a new password.

    Note: The user can also reset a forgotten password in the Authentication Service login screen.

Deleting a Password

You can delete a password for any User Account.

To delete a password , follow the below steps:

  1. Click Users in the left navigation bar to open the Users page.

  2. From the list of users, choose and click a user you want to delete the password.

  3. The user account page opens, go to Authentication Methods and Activity section >> Password tab.

  4. Click DELETE button, the Delete Authenticator confirmation dialog box appears, click OK to confirm to delete the password as an authenticator.
