Upgrading the Minidriver

You can update the Minidriver version using the Device Manager.

1. Launch the Minidriver package from HID’s web site: http://www.hidglobal.com/drivers.
2. Unzip the .cab file.
3. Insert a Crescendo 2300 (or C2300 FIPS) card, or Crescendo 2300 iCLASS card, or plug in a Crescendo Key.
4. Launch the Device Manager.

   

5. Select the Identity Device (NIST SP 800-73 [PIV]) in the Smart cards section.
6. Right-click and select Update driver.

   

7. Select Browse my computer for driver software.

   

8. Choose the directory where the package has been unzipped.
9. Click OK and then Next.

   

10. Click Install.

    

11. Click Close.
