Resetting the Smart Card Using Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM)

This section describes how to reset a Crescendo Card using Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM).

Warning! Resetting the card will permanently erase all the data on the card.

Follow these simple steps:

  1. Log on to Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM) Management console.

  2. Select Manage My Info.

  3. Under View My Information, select Show details of my smart card.

  4. Under Smart Card Information, select Retire this smart card.

  5. Verify the actions that will be performed when the card is retired and click Next.

  6. The Request Complete page displays which summarizes the smart card request that is being executed.
