CFWeb Overview
This section explains overview of the CFWeb, applications that interact with CFWeb, primary CFWeb APIs, CFWeb architecture, and CFWeb process.
CFWeb is used by Merchants interacting with their Customers to validate the Customer’s identity. CFWeb creates a secure and safe exchange for both the Merchant and Customer.
Three parts make up CFWeb architecture: The Server, Client, and SDK. These three parts are referred to as CFWeb Server, CFWeb Client, and Web SDK. Additionally included in CFWeb is our test environment called CF Web Portal and our APIs.
CFWeb Client is the vehicle that WebSDK fits into so that WebSDK can do one job. That job is to capture a good image for the CFWeb Client (the “vehicle”) to process and bring the data from point A to point B. CFWeb Client works together with WebSDK by using the WebSDK for its capture library. The capture library is the part of the software that captures the document. These two products come in a package, but you will only need CFWeb Client to set up your environment successfully. CFWeb will provide you with everything you need to begin verifying requests.
