HID Validation Suite
HID Global’s validation solutions provide real-time validation services across multiple regional networks.
The Validation Suite provides an infrastructure for validating the revocation status of digital certificates using Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP) and Server-based Certificate Validation Protocol (SCVP).
It includes ActivID Validation Authority (VA), ActivID Validation Client (VC), ActivID Validation Responder (VR) and ActivID Validation Responder Appliance (VRA).

The ActivID Validation Authority provides a revolutionary approach for digital certificate validation using OCSP (Online Certificate Status Protocol) with radically improved security.
HID ActivID Validation Client
The ActivID Validation Client is ideally suited toward enterprises and governments deploying PKI-based smart cards and smart tokens for secure remote access, and Windows domain login.
It works with the ActivID Validation Authority and ActivID Validation Responder.
HID ActivID Validation Responder
The ActivID Validation Responder is an Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP) solution optimized for delivering certificate validation in a variety of environments.
The ActivID Validation Responder is available as a virtual appliance or as a software version to match your IT deployment policy.

The ActivID Validation Responder Appliance is a cost-effective solution for scaling a PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) certificate validation service deployed with the ActivID Validation Authority.
Each Validation Responder Appliance provides a local OSCP (Online Certificate Status Protocol) service providing real-time validation without the overhead of connecting to the centralized service.
