Deploying the Web Help Desk

This section provides instructions on how to install and use the ActivID AAA Server Web Help Desk as an administrator.

Note: Throughout this documentation, the AAA Server Web Help Desk is referred to as the Web Help Desk.

This section is not intended for the device owner (that is, the end user). For information on how the end user uses this product, see Using the ActivID AAA Server Web Self Help Desk and the Deploying the Soft Token Solution.

This information is intended for:

  • System administrators
  • Help desk operators with high-level network security privileges

This overview assumes you have a good working knowledge of:

  • LDAP directories.
  • Networking.
  • Your password-controlled Windows operating system.
