Delete a Device

Deleting a device results in the deletion of any credentials associated with that device.

Note: You cannot delete a device that is assigned to a user or ActivID Appliancewill return a “Device in use” error. You must first unassign the device before deleting it.

Search for the device(s) to delete.

  • You can delete one or more devices in the list of search results.
    1. Select the check box(es) beside the device(s) you want to delete.

    2. Click Delete to delete the selected device(s).
    1. Click Yes to confirm the operation.

  • Alternatively, you can delete a specific device in the Device Details page.
    1. In the list of devices, click on the Device ID of the required device.
    1. In the Summary section, click Delete.
    1. Click Yes to confirm the operation.
