Device Initialization Tool v4.1

Note: This version is a service pack that must be installed on top of ActivID Device Initialization Tool 4.0. For details, see Installing the Device Initialization Tool.

Version 4.1 implements the following enhancements and fixes:

  • Support for Windows 11 (64-bit)

  • Support for new generation of tokens:

    • ActivID Flexi Token V2

    • ActivID Pocket Token V2

    • ActivID Token One V3

    Note: These devices are to be initialized and are viewed as Flexi Tokens.

  • Support of PSD2 profiles for the following devices:

    • ActivID Pocket Token

    • ActivID Token One

    • ActivID Flexi Token

    • ActivID Desktop Token

  • Support export in CSV format without encrypted zip file (not recommended from a security perspective), option accessible from Tools/Options/Security tab.

  • Add global option in Tools/Options/Security tab to enable / disable “delete devices” after their exportation.

  • Export PSKC: Support DES3 algorithm for unlock service for OATH Token profiles.

  • Support tokens initialization with a weak initial PIN (not recommended from a security perspective).
