Load User Certificates

Loading individual certificates for each user is a slow process. Typical installations use LDAP retrieval to load user certificates. Before you can load user certificates, you must identify the certificate issuers as described in Specify Certificate Authorities to Manage.

To load user certificates, you can perform one of the following:

• Load a User Certificate from a File - From the Officer menu, register a new certificate.

• Retrieve User Certificates from an LDAP Directory - From the Administrator menu, register a LDAP new certificate data source.

• Retrieve End Entity Certificates from a URL - From the Administrator menu, configure a new URL certificate data source.
