Installing the Smart Data Bridge

This chapter describes how to install the ActivID Smart Data Bridge product.

The ActivID Smart Data Bridge is available as part of the ActivID Validation Authority, distributed via an electronic download.

Note: There are some superficial differences in appearance between Microsoft Windows and Linux installations. This chapter illustrates both installations, and also a command line installation.

Note: Java Development Kit (JDK) 11 is required for the ActivID Smart Data Bridge installers and applications. SDB can be installed using the OpenJDK 11 (from OpenJDK.org), refer to Installing Smart Data Bridge for Windows and Installing Smart Data Bridge for Linux for more information.
