Set Up Your Account

Prerequisites:  
  • You have the welcome email from HID Global available containing instructions on setting up your Customer Central account

    The email includes your User identifier and Temporary password.

  • Install the HID Approve application on your mobile device (available from the Apple® Store and Google® Play)

    As access to your Customer Central account is protected by multi-factor authentication, the HID Approve mobile application provides a simple swipe to Approve your login requests.

To set up your account:

  1. Using your browser, go to the Customer Central URL provided in your welcome email.

  2. Enter the User identifier from the welcome email as the Username and click NEXT.

  3. Enter the Temporary password from the welcome email as the Password and click NEXT.

  4. In the Change Password dialog, enter the Temporary password again and then set a New Password.

    The password requirements are displayed as you type.

  5. Click SUBMIT to create the new password.

  6. Enter your new password and click NEXT.

    You are prompted to agree to share the data specified in the dialog with Customer Central before creating an account.

  7. Click ACCEPT to submit your consent.

    Once accepted, the HID Approve registration page with a QR code is displayed.

  8. Open the HID Approve application from your mobile phone and scan the QR code to register Customer Central as a service.

    Note: If you do not have the HID Approve app on your mobile device, download and install the HID Approve mobile app from the Apple Store and Google Play on your mobile.
  9. Wait until your service is registered, and then enter a friendly name for the Customer Central service.

    Once successfully registered, you will be directed to the login page.

    You can now sign in to your Customer Central account with your username and password, followed by a HID Approve push notification.
