Brother QL-820NWB Label Printer - Bluetooth Setup
This article will assist with connecting your Brother QL-820NWB Label Printer using the direct Bluetooth connection method.
Badge Printing via Bluetooth connection only works with the browser application (not with SAFE Mobile app 5.0).
Prerequisites

Ensure you are logged in to the workstation with administrator rights.

Badge Print setting should be enabled at Settings app > Visitor Manager tab > Check-In sub-tab.

Make sure that the Enable Print Badge On Visitor Check-In setting should be enabled at the Location record > Kiosk Preferences tab.

In order for the printer and workstation to communicate via Bluetooth, you must first pair the printer with the workstation or handheld device.
Printing badges via Bluetooth connection
Printing over Bluetooth is convenient in lobbies without Wi-Fi or if one or both devices can’t connect to the Wi-Fi network for some reason.
Follow the below steps to pair the workstation and the printer:

Download the Printer Driver and install Brother QL-820NWB Drivers.

After the installer starts, continue with the setup wizard until you see the below screen. Select the bluetooth connection type and click Next.

Bluetooth Connection: This allows to connect the printer to a computer using Bluetooth management software.

Follow the prompts to complete the software installation for the printer driver and related software.

Setup the printer using Bluetooth connection option.

On the iPad from the home screen of your Apple device, tap Settings, and then tap Bluetooth.

Slide the toggle button to the [ON] position.

Use the following procedure to pair the printer with iPad:

Press the [Menu] button on the printer.

Press the [▲] and [▼] button to select the [Bluetooth] menu.

Press the OK button.

Press the [▲] and [▼] buttons to select Bluetooth(On/Off), then press OK. Press the [▲] and [▼] button to select [On], then press OK button

Use iPad to display the list of nearby Bluetooth accessories that your device can pair with.

Select your printer’s model name and, if required, enter the passkey (PIN code). The printer's passkey is the last four digits of its serial number by default.

Configure the Printing Parameters
This section is only applicable for Windows workstations.
