About the ActivID AAA Server Web Self Help Desk

The ActivID AAA Server Web Self Help Desk allows you to manage your assigned authentication devices and does not require the intervention of a help desk operator.

Note: Throughout this documentation, the AAA Server Web Self Help Desk is referred to as the Web Self Help Desk.

Supported Browsers

  • Mozilla® Firefox® 80.0.1 or later

  • Google® Chrome® 84 and earlier

Note:  
  • For Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome, the ActivID Web Soft Token is not supported after version 41.
  • Use the Back button on the interface rather than on your browser to return to the previous page.

You can manage the following devices in the Web Self Help Desk:

  • ActivID Token (v1 and v2)*
  • ActivID Keychain Token (v1 and v2)*
  • ActivID Mini Token (AE, AT, OT and OE)*
  • ActivID Desktop Token (formerly Token XL)*
  • ActivID Pocket Token (AT and OT)*
  • ActivID USB Key (for ActivID ActivClient)
  • ActivID Smart Card (for ActivID ActivClient)
  • HID Approve Tokens (mobile application for Apple® iOS®, Google® Android® and Microsoft® Windows® 10)
  • ActivID PC Soft Tokens (v2)**
  • ActivID Mobile Soft Tokens (v2)**
  • ActivID Web Soft Tokens (v2)**

* No software client required.

** These soft tokens are deprecated. If you currently have a soft token assigned, when you log on to the Web Self Help Desk, you are automatically guided through the process to replace them with HID Approve Tokens.
