Web Help Desk Users
The AAA Server Administration Console Administrators, Device Managers, and Help Desk Operators have access to the Web Help Desk.
However, Audit Managers do not have access to the portal.
In addition, Administrators can restrict Help Desk Operator privileges to one (or more) specific groups. For more information, see Managing the ActivID AAA Server.
The following table provides a reference to the various Web Help Desk tasks:

View the status and options for a specific device assigned to a user (main display). |

Assign a new device to a user. |

Lock a device manually so that it cannot be used (temporarily). |

Unlock a device and reset to the number of authentication tries to 0. |

Synchronize hardware token using a password or the counter and clock values. |

Synchronize software token using a password, or the clock or counter values. |

Unlock a device’s PIN code using codes generated by the locked device. |
|
Set an ActivID Mini Token’s PIN code. |
|
Enable the user to authenticate with an LDAP emergency or temporary password. |

Remove an existing temporary password. |
|
Activate the SMS Backup authentication for a user. |
|
Remove the SMS Backup authentication for a user. |
|
View the authentication log data for specific device. |
